A new grocery market featuring produce, deli items, and other everyday foods is expected to open in downtown Johnstown this summer. The project is moving into the former Rite Aid building at 507 Main Street and is being developed by Terravista Capital, a commercial real estate group based in Allegheny County.

The new store will sit directly across from the redesigned Central Park, which is also scheduled to reopen this summer after extensive renovations. Supporters believe the combination of new amenities will help make the downtown district more livable and walkable.
