JOHNSTOWN, PA – The Johnstown Redevelopment Authority has recently purchased a property located at 414-418 Main Street in Downtown Johnstown. The property was most recently known at the headquarters for the Greater Johnstown / Cambria County Convention & Visitors Bureau until 2011 when it was vacated. The Bureau was left with 30 days to find a new headquarters at that time.

‘Acquiring this property is an integral part of the continued revitalization efforts of the City of Johnstown’ stated Melissa Komar, executive director the Authority. ‘With the rich history of this property and based on its location, it needed to be purchased by an organization that will use it to enhance the Central Business District. We intend to work with the proposed tenants to renovate the building to suit their needs.
