After managing the City’s Wastewater Treatment System for fifteen years, the Johnstown Redevelopment Authority purchased the wastewater treatment system from the City in October of 2004, and began operating all aspects of the treatment system. The wastewater treatment system currently consists of the upgraded Dornick Point Wastewater Treatment Plant and the interceptor lines located within the City of Johnstown and West Taylor Township.
- The sewage bill is now a combined bill with Greater Johnstown Water Authority and the City Sewer Rental bill. (Located at: 640 Franklin Street, Johnstown, PA 15901). The consolidation of these bills has improved customer support, stream-lined the billing process and has added ease to the customer.
- If you have questions regarding a pressure test certification please contact The Greater Johnstown Water Authority (814) 533-4300.
- Property owners are now required to have sewer treatment service in their name. If a tenant moves please contact the Greater Johnstown Water Authority office within 5 days.
- Reduced Rate for vacant structure applications are now being accepted. Please contact the Greater Johnstown Water Authority for more information at: 814-533-4300 pertaining to Resolution No. 4276, which was adopted on November 15, 2016, defines the guidelines for qualifying for the reduced rate for vacant structure.
